
Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center
Founded in 1969 with the opening of Alice Tully Hall, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) stands today as the premier chamber music organization in the United States, presenting an ever-changing residency of elite musicians and offering an expansive repertoire that spans from early music to bold contemporary works .
Their vibrant season includes over 150 concerts and educational events annually—both at their home venues and through tours—and their programming extends through broadcasts and digital streaming, covering everything from radio shows to live performances around the world .
Artistic leadership is jointly held by cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han, who have cultivated CMS into a multi-generational ensemble rooted in artistic excellence and innovation
