Since their breathtaking appearance on our series last season, the Poiesis Quartet had gone on to win the coveted First Prize at the Banff International String Quartet Competition (BISQC). The Cincinnati- based foursome created waves of excitement in Banff with their spellbinding and scintillating performances. The prestigious win at BISQC marks the highest achievement to date of a group whose CV also includes gold medals at the Fischoff National Chamber Music and St Paul String Quartet competitions in 2023.
